Once we get sober, it can be hard to make sense of our past or become at peace with the things we did or the things that happened to us.  Our tie to the past can be a strong one and it can be easy to dwell in guilt and shame around our experiences. But, if we can use our stories to help others who are currently struggling, our stories take a new meaning. Your story matters!

 

We have an amazing show this week with a warstory from Adam. Adam literally chased his high to the end, and somehow lived to tell about it. Hear how his life of success was still no match for his addiction. Living a double life, it wasn’t until it nearly cost him his life that he first thought about living a sober life. And even then, it wasn’t enough to keep him sober and clean. Tune in to hear what it took and how telling his story has been a pivotal part of his recovery journey.
